I want to start by making it clear that I rarely write item reviews, definitely never thorough ones such as this, but I'm in love. I'm reviewing this entirely on my own, no incentives or rewards, nothing.
I knew I wanted some sort of facial oil or serum, but I was wasn't sure what to get. I did a ton of research and decided on Vitamin C and a quick Amazon search landed me on this stuff.
I have an almost non-existent beauty routine, I rarely wear makeup and have a tendency to neglect my skin. My face is extremely sensitive and prone to breakouts/product reactions, so I'm quite cautious trying new products.
Concerns I had before I purchased this were: will this leave a sticky residue or will it be too oily to fully absorb, potentially leaving the product just sitting on the surface of my skin?
I typically apply with a quartz roller or my fingertips. After using this product every other day (if not more) for one full month:
I'm VERY pleased. After applying, there is NO sticky or greasy feeling. It absorbs into my skin pretty quickly. My skin still feels super soft and hydrated (surprisingly) for most of the day. In the past I have had to frequently reapply some kind of moisturizer to my face about midday, but I haven't even had to do that lately. I'm a college student in my late 20's so I'm always lacking sleep and veryy self-conscious about the look of my tired eyes, dark circles, eye bags, etc. Even on days that I've been awake far too long, I feel like the overall appearance of my eyes (especially) and skin is much more brighter and awake-looking. Thank god! I'm not really concerned about the affects of aging yet, but I did notice that some old scars and marks have faded out a little and made my skin tone more even. Yay!
I truly wish I had taken a before picture so I could compare. I strongly recommend this. I'm about to place an order for my second bottle, because I honestly don't want to go without this serum 😁😁
It’s too early to say it’s working, but for the past 5 days evening and night I have used this religiously.
After doing a little research, I found out that vitamin c serum is best used in the morning followed by hyaluronic acid serum then your favourite moisturiser, and evening is best with the retinol serum followed by hyaluronic acid serum then your favourite night moisturiser.
So far my skin feels well hydrated and I’m very happy with all three products, the hyaluronic acid has a slight scent of rose which is pleasant and not too strong.
My skin does feel a little tacky to the touch, but after 30 minutes when my moisturiser has been absorbed this goes away.
Will be happy to update my review after a couple of months use :)
